To serve those who suffer disasters, losses,
and tragedies,
with love and compassion. To empower people to soar to their highest
potential. To uplift the idea that every one has
the power to give. To see the beauty and innocence in peoples'
hearts. To cultivate and teach the wisdom learned from peoples'
souls. To live to the Utmost in service of God and people. To
believe in the golden thread of oneness in our world. To find in
each and every life experience the profound realization that Love is
All.

.".Inequality
in the world has a lot to do with the power construct of this world.
Lack of access to health care facilities is often a conscious choice by
those in power. Tackling this equality lies in the recognition of the
unique human experience. Rich and poor, all can uplift society. Each and
every person can make an impact on this planet. Empowering and uplifting
those that are seemingly powerless may lead to the sea of change we need
in this world. A positive and realistic outlook on Human Potential is
the paradigm shift required......

Together with souls like mine, whose lives are
called upon to this direction: To the oppressed who do not know their
worth; the weak who have lost all hope; the children who lay victims to
sickness, abuse and exploitation; the perpetrators themselves who cause
other’s as well as their own suffering. It is my mission to open their
eyes to the truth about themselves and the whole of humanity: They are
hope and forgiveness. They are strong and powerful. They are
beautiful. They are love.

Dr. Yasmyne Ronquillo
I firmly believe that ultimately, health responsibility resides not only
in health care delivery systems but in individuals and their families.
Each individual has a right to be informed about how to maintain optimal
health. There must be an emphasis on public health, a healthy lifestyle
and prevention of illness. We must strive to have a society where
debilitating chronic diseases due to unhealthy lifestyles are minimized,
where infectious diseases are nipped in the bud and where dangerous
chemicals do not threaten our genes. But we must realize that
catastrophic calamities created by both nature and men, do happen. And
health mission work will fill the need for health care in areas that are
not fully equipped to deal with the magnitude of the catastrophe. PGHF,
I believe, can be one such organization, working in partnership with
other concerned health care workers and other organizations in the
disaster stricken area. drronquillo@pghf.org
